God’s word 19/02/2022.

  1. Good morning viewers, the teachings on God’s word continues, we actually stopped at Genesis 21 vs  32, so would continue from Genesis 21 vs 33.

And Abraham planted a grove in Beer-sheba and called there the name of the Lord the everlasting God.

Now here in vs 34,

And Abraham sojourned in the land of the Philistines many days, which means he either went with Abimelech to the land of the Philistines because A-bim-e-lech and his servants returned back to the land of the Philistines which means that’s was where he came from, and then vs 34 says and Abraham sojourned in the land of the Philistines many days, and when we read Genesis 20 vs 1,  the bible says and Abraham journeyed from thence towards the south country, and dwelled between ka’-desh and shur, and sojourned in Gerar. This was the land that God instructed him to dwell, and Philistines wasn’t mentioned here, and this ka’-desh and shur, this was where he dwelled, and then he sojourned in Gerar, now Gerar is a town in the Palestine border, let’s say just the way we have in Africa, nigeria and Cameron, I am giving an instance now, and then Cameron became joined with Nigeria and then you would probably be having a town in Cameron in the country of Nigeria, that was the way Gerar was a city in the border of Palestine in the nation of the Philistines, and then you would probably have this Abimelech as a king in the major Philistine country and not a king in Gerar, as I have explained before, and then Genesis 21 vs 34 says and Abraham sojourned in the land of the Philistines many days, this was after he made a treaty with Abimelech, meaning because of the treaty, he went to the Philistines and stayed there many days, we all know that the bible wouldn’t be telling us word to word everything that happened as at that time, but the spirit that unveils secrets and mysteries could tell us everything, and so it was.

Genesis 22 vs 1.

And he said take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee in to the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of.

And when we read down the scripture, Abraham actually obeyed God by bringing the child to the mountains, and then God stopped him, when he was about to offer him as sacrifice. All of these actions was why God made a convenant with Abraham.

Can we learn to trust God, or maybe there are times the spirit of God put us to test, put us to understand our minds and our way of thinking, should we not pass the test, seeing that He just want to know how much we could obey Him, and how many times we could go out of our way to please Him, this is because there are so many that would rather please God and then displease themselves, God cannot entrust whatever it is He would have entrusted in their care, so it is important that all of God’s children understand this facts,  because there are many  that would pray and then want something from God, Maybe it’s a spiritual gift, they might not get it, because they were tested, and then they didn’t win, and so they Might have to pray over and over again, so it’s important that  we have a good and an understanding heart that God can relate with, a heart that is open for others as well and so the spirit of God can come in and then we could pass any test that is being given to us for this is what we need to do, and so we could have all we’ve always wanted to have from God’s precious spirit.
