Sunday /19/2021 message.
Scripture Proverbs 6 vs 16 .
These six things doth the Lord hate : yea seven are an abomination unto Him.
Vs 17, a proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood.
Vs 18, an heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief.
Vs 19, a false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.
Vs 20, my son keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother.
Oh! We all love the book of Proverbs, isn’t it, and we could just learn so much. Today’s message is talking about six things or seven things that the Lord hate, and then how could anyone know of these things and still proceed to do them.
In one of my recent post on Facebook, I talked about how God never intended for man to be evil, and then for man to be free, there have to be seperation from the serpent that caused Eve to eat the forbidden fruit in the garden of Eden, man has to confess the Lord ship of Jesus and then accept him as their Lord and personal saviour.
There need to be commitment within ones heart, committed to serve the Lord, commited in the things of the spirit, knowing what the Lord likes and then what He hates, which is the message of today, “knowing the seven things that the Lord hate”
Now those seven things ordinarily as a believer, you could know what God loves and then what God hates, you don’t need to read it from the scripture, this is because when you give your life to God, and then confess Jesus as the Lord of your life, automatically, you enter into a new life, the life that makes you do what God likes, this is what happens when anyone give their life to God.
Now we read out the seven things that the Lord hates, it’s so clear, and then shunning all of the things that He hate is what would make anyone enter into His presence, His presence whereby we could have answers to prayers, and whatever it is that we want from Him, we could have all, because we know what He hate.
This is what God wants for everyone, especially His children to shun evil and then do good, and having the good mind that He can always speak to, the mind that would love to always listen to Him, and then the mind that He can give instructions. This is all what He wants, and as we yield ourselves to obey Him, we would only see ourselves living continually in His presence, whereby we could be partakers of His divine inheritance.
