Sunday 25/09/2022 message.
Good afternoon all, and welcome to a wonderful Sunday service, it’s going close to the end of the year, having victory over the circumstances of life, and no matter how and what God has been with us, and then counting back at any achievements, we have every reason to say thank you Lord for everything, thank you Lord for giving us victory, and for whatever it is thank you Lord.
So we are going to be looking at the book of I Samuel 10 from vs 1, Then Sammuel took a vial of oil and poured it upon his head, and kissed him and said, it is not because the Lord had annointed thee to be captain over his inheritance? Now this scripture talked about Sammuel annointing Saul to be king of Israel, and then I actually brought In this scripture because of the revelation, the realm at which God made Saul King over Isreal.
Vs 2 chapter 10 of the book of I Samuel
when thou art departed from me today, thou shalt find two men by Rachel’s Sepulchre in the border of Benjamin, let’s stop here. Now who are these two men that Saul would find ? and they were going to say something to him, and these men, where they just mere men or where they from God? And what was the essence of this? Saul was to be made King, and then Sammuel the Prophet was instructed by God to go annoint him, so these men were sent from God, they were not mere men.
Vs 3, then shalt thou go forward from thence, and thou shalt come to the plain of Tabor, and there shall meet thee three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread. Vs 4, And they will salute thee and give thee two loaves of bread, which thou shalt recieve from their hands. Wow! What a mystery and what a way to make someone a king, and even though his kinship, his reign wasn’t the way that God intended but the mystery behind the way he was annointed is what we cannot forget, and then he was to take those two loaves of bread and eat them. wow! How can God send angels to someone with two loaves of bread, and why wouldn’t that person recognize the supremacy of God, recognize how powerful God is, and still why would that person not be a good King, and all of these wasn’t fully recognised by Saul, because if it was, May be evil spirits wouldn’t have gained access to his life.
Today we have people, maybe Christians, ministers that God annointed in a special way, a special way that was purposeful that could change the lives of so many, but they failed to recognize it, but even though God intended to bring out a whole new world of believers, a whole new world of people that are or would be committed to serving Him still God wanted people to recognize His supremacy more and then live life to His fulfilment, to His glory, and that was all God intended and that was why Saul was annointed that way, but He lost it, should we as God’s children not recognize how God brought us out, not recognize the purpose of our calling, but show reverence to the creator through our way of living, through our activities or whatever it is recognize the power of God that is upon our lives, the supernatural power of God to do the things that God has called us to do, we should, we should learn to live our lives outside the enemies, outside the enemies of the gospel, and so we could be a vessel unto God, a vessel that is profitable, a vessel that is fit for the masters use and so we could always be an example of a living proof to God’s glory and honor. So wouldn’t go much further, but would stop here.
