Teachings from the book of Zechariah.
Good morning to you all my viewers, so today, the teachings from the book of Zechariah continues.
I actually stopped at chapter 2 vs 8, so would begin from chapter 2 vs 9.
For behold I will shake my hand upon them, and they shall be a spoil to their servants: and ye shall know that the Lord of Host hath sent me.
Which means these sets that God had blessed and then sent them to the nations of the world to preach the gospel, and then if there would be enemy to try to stop them, this why vs 9 says, for behold I will shake my hands upon them, and then they shall be a spoil unto their servants, inorderwards, God would show them His anger, and His wrath, and then they wouldn’t be stopped to spread the good News.
Vs 10, sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion : for lo, and I will dwell in the midst of thee saith the Lord, which means God would be with His servant, and dwell in him or in her, still which could be likened to a city, and then God would be in the midst of that city and then dwell therein, and so His children would accomplish.
So let’s look at the next verse.
Vs 11, and many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, and shall be my people, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shall know that the Lord of host hast sent me unto thee.
Now here is talking about the ones that God had sent to preach the gospel to others, and many nations shall be joined to the Lord in that day, inorderwards, many would gather, referring to multitude of people gathering to hear God’s word, which is what we see today, we have serveral ministers of the gospel preach God’s message sometimes to hundreds, and then thousands, and still then millions of people, this was the vision given to Zechariah, which is evident today, that people would gather to hear God’s word.
And then shall be my people, here is talking about alter call after the message is being preached, and then the people would then accept God completely into their lives, and then God would dwell in the midst of His servant, and then everyone shall know that the Lord of Host hast sent him. So this is what vs 11 talked about.
Vs 12, and the Lord shall inherit Judah, his portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.
Here, this is referring because of what happened in vs 11, and then God would bring back Jerusalem again, inorderwards, He would accept them back as His children.
We are learning about the visions and revelation from the book of Zechariah, this is because, it applies to us today to know and to understand God’s programming for the world and so we could learn from time to time.
